HOW TO GET THERE
By Car
Lisbon Airport (LIS) : ~60 mins
Take E1, then A8 north.
Lagoa de Óbidos: Exit 14 (Caldas da Rainha).
Peniche/Baleal: Exit 14 onto IP6 expressway.
Porto Airport (OPO): ~2h 15m
Take A1 south, transition to A17, then A8 south. Take Exit 14 for either IP6 (Peniche) or Caldas da Rainha (Lagoa de Óbidos).
Note: A Via Verde toll transponder in your rental car is highly recommended.
By Public Transport
From Lisbon Airport (LIS)
Lagoa de Óbidos (~60m): Metro (Red Line) to Campo Grande. Take "Rápida Verde" bus to Caldas da Rainha, then a 10m taxi.
Peniche & Baleal (~90m): Metro to Sete Rios. Take direct Rede Expressos bus to Peniche terminal.
From Porto Airport (OPO)
Peniche / Caldas da Rainha (~3.5–4h): Metro (Line E) to Campanhã hub. Board a direct Rede Expressos bus.
